Program Specialist – Professional Growth

About the role

UBC Sauder School of Business’s Professional Growth unit is seeking a Program Specialist to lead the delivery of its open‑enrollment and custom professional development programs. The role ensures high‑quality, learner‑centered experiences and operational excellence across in‑person and virtual offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate program delivery from planning through execution for over 150 annual open‑enrollment courses and custom corporate programs.
• Serve as primary liaison with faculty, external instructors, corporate clients and learners to ensure seamless program logistics.
• Oversee technical platforms, registration systems, and administrative processes to maintain accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor program performance, collect feedback, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support budgeting, reporting, and compliance requirements for the Professional Growth unit.

• Demonstrated experience in managing educational or professional development programs.
• Strong organizational and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, inclusive environment.
