Professional Services Trainer (Remote)

About the role

Cayenta, a division of Harris, is looking for a Professional Services Trainer to join its Professional Services team. The role supports customer implementations, software adoption, and user readiness for utility and local‑government clients across Canada and the United States. It is fully remote, with travel required 25‑50% of the time.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instructor‑led, virtual, and onsite training sessions for customers implementing Cayenta software.
• Facilitate role‑based training programs for end users, administrators, supervisors, and system champions.
• Lead train‑the‑trainer sessions to enable customer resources to sustain knowledge transfer.
• Partner with Project Managers, Consultants, and implementation teams to create training schedules and readiness plans aligned with project timelines.
• Serve as the training lead throughout implementation projects, ensuring customers are prepared for go‑live activities.
• Support organizational change and user adoption during upgrades and major process changes.
• Provide refresher training and post‑go‑live learning support.
• Coordinate training logistics, attendee management, and session communications.
• Gather participant feedback and training metrics to continuously improve the learning experience.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Development, Support, and Consulting teams to identify knowledge gaps and training opportunities.
• Maintain and update training materials, job aids, and user documentation.

Required profile

• Passion for helping customers adopt new technology and navigate change.
• Strong facilitation and relationship‑building skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally (25‑50%) and hold a valid passport.
• Curiosity and willingness to adopt AI‑enabled tools (copilots, chat‑based assistants, automation) while respecting security and compliance.
