Production Worker – Cheese Making

About the role

Saputo, a leading Canadian cheese manufacturer and fluid milk and cream processor, is hiring a production worker in Saint-Raymond. The position is permanent and full-time, with two possible shifts: day shift (4:00 to 16:00) or night shift (16:00 to 4:00), on a 3-2-2-3 rotation (three days worked, two days off, then three days worked and two days off). The pay is $23.75 per hour, plus a $1.25 evening shift premium and a $1.75 night shift premium.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cheese-making operations such as moulding, unmoulding and turning cheeses
• Clean and sanitize equipment
• Carry out other relevant tasks related to cheese production

Required profile

• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive movements
• Able to work in a temperate and/or refrigerated environment
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse work is an advantage but not required
• Quick learner, responsible, team player and able to communicate easily with colleagues
