Cheese Mold Operator (Production Operator)

About the role

Saputo Produits Laitiers Canada is hiring a full-time, permanent mold operator for its St-Raymond plant. The mold operator ensures the proper functioning of the steps surrounding cheese molding and takes part in regular factory production activities. Night shifts run from 16:00 to 04:00, on a 3-2-2-3 rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble and clean equipment related to molding
• Mold cheese
• Ensure product quality control
• Carry out cheese operations such as unmolding, washing and turning
• Monitor equipment condition and report any issues to the supervisor
• Work closely with the different departments of the plant
• Perform other tasks connected to cheese production

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2-3 years of experience as a food industry operator
• Experience in a HACCP-certified environment
• Ability to work under pressure, standing for a 12-hour shift and lifting 20 kg repeatedly

Preferred skills

• Training in molding with a mentor
• Food safety qualification
• Industrial maintenance knowledge
