Production Support Engineer (Hybrid, Toronto)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Production Support Engineer to join our team in Toronto. The role is hybrid, requiring four days onsite each week, and offers a competitive hourly rate. You will be responsible for maintaining the stability of critical production systems and ensuring rapid resolution of incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve production issues across a diverse technology stack.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and implement long‑term fixes.
• Maintain and support Windows Server, Linux, and virtual environments.
• Work with cloud platforms such as PCF and Azure to manage deployments.
• Develop and maintain web services (SOAP, WCF, REST, Web API) and reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams using Jira, Confluence and SharePoint.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional experience in production support.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with SQL Server 2012‑2019 and Sybase.
• Strong background in ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET, XML, HTML5 and JavaScript.
• Experience with Windows Server 2012‑2019, Linux and virtual machines.
• Proficiency with cloud services (PCF, Azure) and data‑warehousing tools (ETL, DataStage, SSIS).
