Production Operator

About the role

CarboNet is seeking a Production Operator for its Delta, BC facility, where it develops clean‑chemistry solutions for industrial water treatment. The role involves hands‑on manufacturing of chemical products, working closely with technical and operations teams to produce, optimize and ship formulations safely.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, blend and batch chemical formulations according to recipes and SOPs, operating equipment through full batch cycles.
• Document batch data, yields and performance metrics, and assist in refining production processes.
• Perform QA/QC checks on raw materials and finished products, tracking consistency and supporting troubleshooting.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot production equipment, performing basic repairs on pumps, valves and other mechanical components.
• Support shipping, receiving and general production logistics, and report on progress during team meetings.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in production, manufacturing or chemical processing environments.
• Hands‑on experience with chemical mixing, batching or formulation work.
• Familiarity with SOPs, batch records and quality logs.
• Experience operating, maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment and using hand/power tools.
• Ability to operate a counterbalance forklift or reach truck and lift up to 50 lb.
• Practical, solutions‑oriented problem solver who takes safety seriously.

Required skills

• WHMIS certification (training provided if needed).
• TDG (Transport of Dangerous Goods) certification.
• First Aid certification.
• Forklift operation (counterbalance or reach truck).
• Chemical mixing and batching.
• Use of hand and power tools.
