Production Coordinator

About the role

The Production Coordinator supports daily manufacturing operations at De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited. This role ensures accurate production data, facilitates training and onboarding, and helps keep aircraft delivery schedules on track.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily production sheets for accuracy and update completions in the ERP system.
• Prepare daily production metrics and reports for management meetings.
• Highlight upcoming, completed, or overdue milestones based on input from planners and crew chiefs.
• Document and broadcast recovery plans generated during production sessions.
• Monitor the training matrix, forecast monthly expirations, and coordinate employee training with minimal impact on deliveries.
• Manage onboarding and exit checklists, including IT equipment requests and access authorizations.
• Review employee timesheets for accuracy and enter applicable hours and premiums into the payroll system.
• Update shift schedules as required and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Provide information and service to Operations and Planning departments and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to adapt to shifting priorities throughout the day.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret documents and apply standards in a fast‑changing environment.
