Producer - Property & Casualty Insurance

About the role

Marsh Risk is looking for a Producer to join its Growth team in Vancouver. The role is hybrid, with at least three days a week spent in the office. You will grow a mid-sized book of business by acquiring new logos and expanding opportunities within existing accounts, relying on a strong local network of CFOs, Treasury, Finance and Legal professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand a mid-sized book of business of larger or nuanced Property & Casualty accounts across industries, supporting sales of complex, high-priority accounts owned by senior colleagues.
• Develop and run sales strategies for managed accounts by understanding client needs, market trends and Marsh's product and service offerings.
• Research markets and industries to identify relationship needs, target new buyer hubs and grow the book of business.
• Prepare analyses of project and market data to build competitive proposals and cross-functional opportunities.
• Create project plans, set timelines and deliver products and solutions on time.
• Develop custom product solutions for new or existing accounts, keeping pricing and policy compliant.
• Handle escalated issues promptly, maintain client relationships and represent Marsh at industry events and conferences.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing and growing a book of business in Property & Casualty insurance or related fields.
• Demonstrated success in new logo acquisition and expanding existing client relationships.
• Strong local network in the Greater Toronto Area business community with established relationships among CFOs, Treasury, Finance and Legal professionals.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
