Procurement Lead, Professional Services Sourcing – Montreal

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Lead to manage professional services sourcing for a regulated financial services organization in Montreal. The role is independent, responsible for end‑to‑end RFP processes, contract negotiations and category strategy, and reports directly to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full RFP cycles for consulting, legal and other statement‑of‑work engagements.
• Negotiate contracts in both French and English, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop and execute category strategies for professional services spend.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across multiple business units without a local sourcing team.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of procurement experience with a focus on strategic sourcing or category management.
• Proven track record of RFP and SOW negotiations in a large organization.
• Bilingual French/English negotiation skills (mandatory).
• Experience in a regulated industry such as financial services, pharma or insurance (preferred).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or a related field.

Required skills

• Familiarity with procurement platforms such as Ariba, Ivalua or Beeline.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
