About the role
We are looking for a caring and reliable individual to provide full‑time child care in a private home in Surrey, BC. The caregiver will assume responsibility for the household when parents are away, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for children of various ages.
Key responsibilities
- Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, and meal preparation for the family.
- Supervise, bathe, dress, feed, and discipline children according to parents’ guidelines.
- Organize games, outings, and educational activities, and assist with homework.
- Transport children to school, appointments, and accompany the family on trips.
- Maintain a safe, healthy home environment and tend to children’s emotional well‑being.
Required profile
- Efficient interpersonal skills and honesty.
- Flexibility, good judgment, and reliability.
- Organized and able to handle physically demanding tasks.
- Willingness to learn on the job; no prior experience required.
