About the role
We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to provide full‑time child care in a private home setting in Surrey, BC. The caregiver will be responsible for the day‑to‑day wellbeing of infants and young children while the parents are away. The role includes assuming full responsibility for the household in the parents' absence, ensuring all child‑related tasks are performed with care and professionalism.
Key responsibilities
- Change diapers, sterilize bottles and prepare formula as needed.
- Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment throughout the home.
- Organize and supervise games, outings and other age‑appropriate activities.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
- Keep accurate records of daily activities, health information and rest periods.
Required profile
- Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
- Experience in child care is an asset but not mandatory.
