About the role
We are seeking a dedicated child caregiver to provide attentive, nurturing care for infants and children in a private home in Chilliwack, BC.
Key responsibilities
- Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, and prepare nutritious meals for children.
- Bathe, dress, feed, and supervise infants and children throughout the day.
- Organize games, outings, and educational activities to support social development.
- Maintain daily activity and health records, and ensure a safe environment.
- Transport children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
- Assist with homework and support children’s emotional well‑being.
- Prepare children for rest periods and follow parents’ discipline methods.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 2 to less than 3 years of child‑care experience.
- Ability to work in a non‑smoking, scent‑free home environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
