About the role

This full‑time, permanent position provides in‑home childcare for a family in Calgary. You will work closely with the parents to ensure the children’s daily routine, safety, and well‑being are maintained while supporting the household when the parents are away.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow parents' lead with toilet training and discipline methods.
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in parents' absence, including light housekeeping and cleaning.
  • Bathe, dress, feed infants and children, and prepare nutritious meals.
  • Organize games, outings and activities to support social development.
  • Maintain daily records of activities, health information, and ensure a safe environment.

Required profile

  • Secondary school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of childcare experience.
  • Excellent oral communication, patience, reliability and good judgment.
  • Physical ability to perform demanding tasks and repetitive duties.
  • Clear criminal record check and medical exam.

Required skills

  • CPR certification.
  • First Aid certification.
