About the role

This full‑time, permanent position is based in the employer’s home in Nepean. You will provide comprehensive childcare and household support for a family, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for infants and children.

Key responsibilities

• Change diapers, sterilize bottles, and prepare formula.
• Bath, dress, feed, and supervise infants and children.
• Plan and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment, including light housekeeping, laundry, and ironing.
• Shop for food and household supplies.
• Transport children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
• Travel with the family on trips, assisting with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
• Discipline children according to parents’ guidelines and support their emotional well‑being.
• Prepare children for rest periods and manage daily routines.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of child‑care experience.
• Physically able to perform demanding, repetitive tasks.
• Excellent communication, patience, honesty, and reliability.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
• Criminal record check and references required.
