About the role
We are seeking a reliable child care provider to work in a private home in Victoria. The role involves caring for children and supporting the household while the parents are away.
Key responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents' absence, including light housekeeping and cleaning.
- Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety, emotional well‑being, and personal hygiene.
- Discipline children according to parents' guidelines and assist with homework.
- Organize games, outings and other activities to promote social development.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and manage meal planning.
- Travel with the family on trips, providing child supervision and household support.
- Maintain a safe and healthy home environment and handle occasional lifting up to 23 kg.
Required profile
- Minimum secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of child‑care experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, reliability, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure.
