About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide personal care and household assistance to an elderly client in a private residence. The role involves a blend of bedside care, medication administration, and daily living support in a non‑smoking environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, hygiene, and feeding assistance.
- Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately.
- Prepare, serve, and ensure nutritious meals are consumed.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and mend clothing or linens.
- Shop for food and household supplies as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote well‑being.
