About the role
BeConnected Support Services is seeking a dedicated Community Worker to join its group‑home team in Victoria. You will support children and adolescents with autism, FASD and other special needs, providing a safe and nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assess each client’s skill strengths and development needs.
- Implement behaviour‑management programs and resolve conflict situations.
- Assist clients and guests with special needs, including sign‑language communication.
- Prepare meals, ensure food safety and carry out housekeeping activities.
- Maintain accurate records and support daily group‑home operations.
Required profile
- Accurate and organized with strong interpersonal awareness.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Values‑driven, ethical and client‑focused.
- Flexible, initiative‑taking and a reliable team player.
