Home Child Care Provider – Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a caring and reliable home child care provider to look after infants and children in a private household in Victoria. The role involves supervising daily activities, ensuring safety, and supporting the children’s development.

Key responsibilities

• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a tidy environment.
• Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, ensuring their basic needs are met.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and promote social development through guided activities.
• Keep accurate records of daily activities and health information for each child.
• Organize games, outings and educational activities to stimulate learning and enjoyment.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks appropriate for each age group.
• Supervise rest periods, ensuring a safe and comfortable sleeping environment.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 7 months of relevant childcare experience.
• Criminal record check and references required.
• Ability to work in a non‑smoking, employer‑home setting.
• Personal qualities: client focus, flexibility, good judgement, organization, reliability, time management and patience.
