About the role
We are seeking a dedicated child care provider to work in a private home in Richmond, BC. The role involves caring for infants and children, ensuring their safety, well‑being, and development while supporting the household’s daily routines.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, bathe, dress, and feed children.
- Organize games, outings, and educational activities to promote social development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and scent‑free environment, including washing and ironing clothing and linens.
- Transport children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities using public transportation.
- Keep daily records of activities, health information, and follow parents’ discipline methods.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of child‑care experience.
- Availability to start on the posted date and work day shifts.
Required skills
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Strong interpersonal and client‑focus abilities.
- Flexibility, patience, and good judgment.
