Primary Teaching Assistant – Supportive Primary School in Redbridge

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic graduates with child‑centred experience to join a welcoming primary school in Redbridge. This full‑time, long‑term position offers a supportive environment where you can develop classroom skills before moving on to teacher training or a lasting education career.

Key responsibilities

• Support teachers during lessons and help manage classroom activities.
• Deliver targeted interventions and work with small groups or individual pupils.
• Assist in creating an inclusive, wellbeing‑focused learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with SEN staff to meet diverse pupil needs.

Required profile

• Degree from a recognised UK university.
• Previous experience working with children (tutoring, mentoring, youth work, etc.).
• Passion for education and a proactive, communicative attitude.
• Eagerness to gain hands‑on classroom experience.
