About the role
Associated Ambulance is seeking a Primary Care Paramedic for a temporary full‑time assignment at its Hinton station in Alberta. The role is expected to last 3–6 months, with the possibility of extension up to 18 months and eventual permanent placement. The successful candidate will work within a safety‑focused team that prioritises quality of care, patient safety and employee safety. The schedule follows a four‑day on, four‑day off rotation. The position includes a three‑month probationary period and may be filled by several candidates from this posting. Applicants must disclose any commitments that could affect their ability to work full‑time.
Required profile
- Valid Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) practice permit that meets Alberta EMS requirements.
- Current, valid Alberta Class 4 driver’s licence.
- Current mandatory training, including MCP and PDIC certifications.
- Fare Certificate issued within the last six months.
