About the role

RFA Bank of Canada, a federally regulated Schedule I bank and core operating subsidiary of RFA Financial Group, is looking for an exceptional leader as its next President & Chief Executive Officer. The bank is in a period of growth and transformation, with plans to expand its lending platform, strengthen operations and pursue strategic growth. The role reports to the Bank's Board of Directors and works closely with the Board and RFA Financial CEO, Ben Rodney.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the Bank's strategic priorities
• Ensure continued excellence in governance, risk management and regulatory compliance
• Translate enterprise priorities into a banking strategy and execution roadmap that supports growth while keeping the Bank safe, sound and compliant
• Lead a high-performing organization through growth and modernization, advancing operational scalability
• Foster collaboration across the broader RFA platform and position the Bank for future opportunities

Required profile

• An accomplished financial services executive with experience leading growth, transformation and complex operating environments, such as scaling businesses, expanding platforms or driving major organizational change
• A collaborative, humble leader who builds strong relationships with regulators, directors, employees and business partners
• The judgment, discipline and credibility needed to operate in a highly regulated environment while delivering business results
