Prefabricated Joinery Assembly Supervisor

About the role

The Prefabricated Joinery Assembly Supervisor will lead a team of 3‑4 workers in assembling prefabricated mechanical parts, ensuring product quality, productivity, and safety in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit production reports, resolve work problems and recommend productivity improvements.
• Supervise, coordinate and schedule activities of workers, oversee safety of operations and provide technical advice.
• Position, align and adjust parts, fasten components using joining equipment, and inspect finished products for proper functioning.
• Read blueprints to determine work requirements and assemble mechanical equipment into sub‑assemblies.
• Train staff or arrange training, and ensure compliance with WHMIS, crane and forklift certifications.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in mechanical assembly or testing environments.
• Certificates: WHMIS, Overhead Crane, Forklift Operator.
• Excellent oral communication, flexibility, organization and reliability.
• Ability to handle up to 23 kg, and work in a combination of sitting, standing and walking.
