Postdoctoral Fellow – AI‑Assisted Clinical Informatics in Gynecologic Cancer

About the role

The Uterine Health Research Lab at UBC seeks a motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to advance AI‑driven clinical informatics for gynecologic cancers. You will work closely with Dr. Aline Talhouk and an interdisciplinary team to develop data‑intensive tools that support cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement multi‑omics data integration pipelines.
• Develop interactive visual dashboards for exploratory data analysis.
• Create AI‑assisted clinical decision‑support tools for gynecologic oncology.
• Collaborate with clinicians, computational scientists, and patient partners on national and international research initiatives.
• Publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals and present at conferences.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in health data science, bioinformatics, computer science, or a related field.
• Strong background in AI, machine learning, or computational biology applied to clinical data.
• Experience working with large‑scale clinical, molecular, or real‑world datasets.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary research team.
