Plant Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Plant Manager to lead a specialized manufacturing facility in Kitchener, Ontario. The role involves direct oversight of production, driving efficiency, and supporting growth in a fast‑paced, agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full plant operations, from raw material intake through fabrication to final product shipping.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 20 employees, fostering a safety‑focused, performance‑driven culture.
• Implement continuous‑improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) and develop systems to evaluate productivity and efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels, production planning, and coordination with supply‑chain partners to ensure operational continuity.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on leadership style with ability to troubleshoot technical processes alongside the team.
• Experience in a unionized environment is required or strongly preferred.
• Post‑secondary education in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
