Electronics Engineer

About the role

BinSentry is a fast‑growing ag‑tech company focused on AI‑driven solutions for the agricultural supply chain. We are looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to design and build cutting‑edge hardware that will power the Mill of the Future.

Key responsibilities

• Design digital, analog and power circuits in Altium.
• Prove systems work as intended through the bring‑up process.
• Ensure designs comply with regulatory requirements.
• Create work instructions for production assembly.
• Develop documentation and guide final systems through certification.
• Run tests in the environmental chamber to verify reliability.
• Produce documentation for incoming inspection and SPC systems.

Required profile

• Electrical or Electronics Engineering degree.
• 5+ years experience designing electronic systems and PCBs.
• Very comfortable using Altium for schematic capture, layout and footprint creation.
• Experienced with oscilloscopes, multimeters and related test equipment.
• Deep understanding of transistor and op‑amp level designs.
• Comfortable with Vernier calipers, micrometers and surface plates.
• Capable of hand‑soldering small SMD components (0402 or smaller).
• Experience with prototype PCB CMs.
• Knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet protocols, microcontrollers and switching power supplies.
• Some exposure to writing firmware in C or with an RTOS.
• Trained in applying Statistical Process Control (SPC) to medium‑volume manufacturing.
• Experienced guiding projects through regulatory testing.
