Team Lead – Electronics Technicians

About the role

BinSentry is rapidly expanding and seeks a leader for its electronics technicians team. The role combines hands‑on technical work with managing and mentoring a skilled group to ensure high‑quality system performance.

Key responsibilities

• Direct day‑to‑day activities of team members by setting priorities
• Manage department budgets and procure tools, equipment, and resources
• Oversee team performance to ensure weekly analysis quotas are met
• Participate in interviewing and onboarding new team members
• Conduct regular performance reviews and support individual career development
• Manage staffing and vacation requests
• Ensure parts are tracked and transferred through the inventory system (Odoo)
• Analyze devices to support the team’s production
• Maintain and train employees on the ESD mitigation program

Required profile

• Proven track record of team leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with talent acquisition
• Electronics Technologist Diploma or Electronics Engineering Degree
• 5‑8 years of experience in electronics diagnostic, troubleshooting, and testing environments

Required skills

• Use of oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers
• Interpret schematics to determine circuit operation
• Troubleshoot complex analog and digital circuits
• Familiarity with electronic circuit board manufacturing and assembly
• Comfortable with command‑line tools
