Physician – Primary Care (Full-Time) – Napanee, ON

About the role

The Physician will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive primary care to clients in the Greater Napanee Health Home, emphasizing culturally appropriate, client‑centred services and health‑promotion initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary health care to clients using a client‑centred, harm‑reduction approach.
• Share on‑call duties with the multidisciplinary team in accordance with ministry and group guidelines.
• Participate in case consultations, shared care with allied health professionals and specialists.
• Submit billing information and maintain accurate client records using the GNHH charting system.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of medical protocols and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Certification in Family Medicine (CCFP) and registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario in good standing.
• Experience with quality‑improvement initiatives (preferred).
• Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, indigenization and accessibility.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using electronic medical record software, preferably PS Suite.
