About the role

The UBC Physical Therapy and Research Clinic is a student‑led, fee‑for‑service clinic that delivers evidence‑based care to the community. This part‑time Physical Therapist will assess and treat patients while supporting the clinic’s caseload needed for student clinical placements. The role emphasizes high‑quality, client‑centered care and collaboration with the clinic team.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage a full caseload, providing comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, referral and discharge.
• Deliver evidence‑informed, high‑quality care to a diverse patient population.
• Meet or exceed PTRC targets for case‑load metrics on a regular basis.
• Communicate with referring physicians and other health‑care professionals regarding patient needs.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and clinic projects as requested.

Required profile

• Willingness to respect diverse perspectives and a commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
• Recently licensed Physical Therapist with current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia.
• Evidence of ongoing continuing education and strong oral and written communication skills.
