About the role
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart #223 in Sooke, BC. This part‑time position offers the opportunity to develop pharmacy skills in a supportive retail environment, with the potential to transition to full‑time permanent employment. You will assist pharmacists with prescription processing, customer service, and inventory management while ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- No prior pharmacy experience required – training will be provided.
- Flexible hours with part‑time schedule leading to full‑time.
- Ability to work onsite in a customer‑focused setting.
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate point‑of‑sale systems.
