Pharmacy Assistant – Kroll Data Entry (12‑Month Contract)

About the role

CareRx is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support long‑term care and retirement communities across Canada. The role focuses on medication preparation, packaging, and data entry using eMAR and Kroll pharmacy software, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to care facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and fill prescriptions using eMAR and Kroll software, including refills and third‑party adjudications.
• Receive, stock, organize, and maintain inventory, handling returns of expired products.
• Prepare and deliver prescriptions and labels to long‑term care homes and retirement communities.
• Manage supplies, perform administrative duties, and respond to inquiries from nurses and healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation, confidentiality, and a clean pharmacy environment.
• Assist with pharmacy operations such as operating automated machines and compounding under pharmacist supervision.
• Consult management on unresolved issues.

Required profile

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or completion of an accredited Pharmacy Assistant program (preferred but not required).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a regulated pharmacy environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with healthcare staff.
