Pharmacy Assistant – Full‑Time Positions Across Multiple Locations

About the role

Murphy's Pharmacies is seeking enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistants to join its team at several locations on Prince Edward Island, including Stratford, Cornwall and Charlottetown. You will support pharmacists and technicians in delivering high‑quality patient care while maintaining a friendly, professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and package prescriptions under supervision, input accurate patient and prescription data, and process refill requests and third‑party billing.
• Greet customers, assist with over‑the‑counter inquiries, handle cash and card transactions, and refer clinical questions to the pharmacist.
• Receive, stock, and organize medications, track expiration dates, manage returns or waste, and monitor inventory levels.
• Maintain patient records, manage faxes, and coordinate follow‑ups.

Required profile

• Enjoy working in a team environment while providing exceptional client care.
• Passion for helping people in a healthcare setting.
• Previous community pharmacy experience is preferred.
