Field Service Employee – Medical Imaging

About the role

Join Philips as a Field Service Employee in Medical Imaging, providing on‑site technical support to healthcare customers in Sudbury and surrounding areas. You will use your technical expertise to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain advanced imaging equipment while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service in line with entitlements, set expectations, and meet arrival commitments.
• Install, diagnose, and repair electronic, mechanical, and network components of multimodality imaging systems.
• Complete preventive maintenance, field change orders, installation documentation, and related paperwork within regulatory timeframes.
• Travel up to 70% of the time, with average daily driving of 1‑4 hours and occasional overnight stays.
• Participate in regional team activities, identify training gaps, and seek opportunities to expand technical capabilities.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging service or 4+ years in electromechanical industries.
• College diploma in electronics or equivalent; Biomedical Engineering Technology diploma preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on‑call rotations.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada and residence within commuting distance of Sudbury.
