Pharmacist – Rural Community Pharmacy in Lewisporte

About the role

Join a locally owned community pharmacy in the scenic town of Lewisporte, Newfoundland and Labrador. As a pharmacist you will work alongside three experienced pharmacists and a supportive team of assistants, providing essential medication services to residents and tourists.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and counsel patients on proper use.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain a welcoming, efficient environment.
• Manage inventory, verify orders, and ensure compliance with provincial regulations.
• Optionally support the nearby New World Island Pharmacy as needed.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Pharmacists.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work flexible weekend rotations (1 in 3) and adapt to reduced evening hours.
