Pharmacist – Hospital Pharmacy (Winkler)

About the role

The Southern Health‑Santé Sud team is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join the Boundary Trails Health Centre and its affiliates in Winkler. This casual, on‑site position supports safe, accessible, and patient‑centered care across a culturally diverse region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage drug procurement and distribution in accordance with departmental policies and provincial/federal regulations.
• Perform clinical pharmacy activities, including medication therapy reviews and patient counseling.
• Prepare sterile products following established standards.
• Maintain accurate records, ensure confidentiality, and uphold the organization’s mission, vision, and values.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting (preferred).
• Experience with sterile product preparation (required).
• Basic computer proficiency with typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
• Current eligibility for registration with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence, insured vehicle, and liability coverage of $1,000,000.

Required skills

• Sterile compounding techniques.
• Computer typing (minimum 40 wpm).
• Basic mathematics and accounting for medication inventory.
