Pharmacist – Full‑time Rotating Day Shift

About the role

Interior Health is looking for an experienced and dynamic Pharmacist to join the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital Pharmacy team in Trail, BC. This permanent full‑time position works on a rotating day shift and offers the chance to contribute to high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret medication orders and prescriptions, assessing therapeutic suitability.
• Dispense, compound, and label medications accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate with healthcare professionals and patients to resolve prescription issues and provide medication use instructions.
• Participate in medication use evaluations, safety initiatives, quality control activities, and clinical drug trials.
• Ensure all pharmacy activities comply with legal, professional, and departmental standards.

Required profile

• Licensed Pharmacist with experience in a hospital or acute‑care setting.
• Reliable, flexible, and motivated individual able to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with multidisciplinary teams and patients.
