Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy (Addiction Care)

About the role
Pharmabest is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join its busy downtown Toronto location. The pharmacy focuses on addiction care and opioid agonist therapy, providing a supportive, non‑judgmental environment for patients in recovery. New graduates are encouraged to apply, with training available for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescriptions and counsel patients on safe medication use.
- Manage opioid agonist therapy (methadone, buprenorphine/naloxone), including witnessed and carry doses.
- Provide clinical services such as MedsChecks, immunizations, and minor ailment assessments.
- Maintain narcotic and controlled‑substance records, reconciliation, and inventory.
- Process ODB billing and third‑party claims.
- Ensure compliance with Ontario College of Pharmacists and Health Canada standards.
- Collaborate with prescribers and pharmacy staff to support positive patient outcomes.
Required profile
- Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (Part A).
- Compassionate, non‑judgmental approach to patients in recovery.
- Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills.
- Professional, reliable, and patient‑first attitude.
