Personal Support Worker – Home Support

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Personal Support Worker to provide home‑based care for elderly clients in Toronto. The role involves delivering bedside and personal care, ensuring clients’ comfort, safety, and well‑being in their own homes. The position is permanent, full‑time and offers a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care, including assistance with bathing and hygiene.
• Feed or assist clients with feeding and prepare nutritious meals.
• Launder clothing and household linens and perform light housekeeping duties.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Provide personal care.
• Ensure a safe environment by adhering to non‑smoking policies and completing criminal record checks.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Punctual, dependable, and patient with strong interpersonal judgment.
• Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lb).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Honest and reliable with strong organizational skills.
• Flexible and able to take initiative.
