Barber Shop Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Barber Shop Manager to lead daily operations at Sonu Barber Shop in Edmonton. The role blends staff leadership, customer service, and hands‑on barbering duties to ensure a high‑quality experience for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Direct, control and evaluate daily shop operations.
• Plan, organize and implement policies, procedures and schedules for staff.
• Manage budget, inventory and purchasing of supplies.
• Hire, train, supervise and schedule a team of 5‑10 barbers and support staff.
• Address customer complaints and ensure satisfaction.
• Perform hair cutting, trimming, styling, perming and scalp analysis as needed.
• Maintain health and safety standards in the shop.
• Ensure compliance with local licensing and sanitation regulations.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 3 to less than 5 years of relevant management experience in a barbershop or hair‑salon setting.
• Experience supervising a team of 5‑10 employees.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and inventory.
