Home Child Care Provider – Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable home child care provider to join a family in Edmonton on a full‑time, permanent basis. The role involves caring for infants and children in the employer’s home while maintaining a safe, nurturing environment. You will be responsible for daily child‑care routines, meal preparation, and light household tasks related to the children’s wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, such as tidying play areas and washing dishes.
• Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring proper hygiene and nutrition.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, catering to children’s dietary needs.
• Supervise children throughout the day, providing safe, engaging activities and monitoring their well‑being.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, following safety guidelines.
• Cook meals for the children, ensuring balanced nutrition.
• Assist with light household chores related to child care, such as laundry and organizing toys.

Required profile

• Organized individual who can manage daily routines efficiently.
• Patient and caring attitude towards infants and children.
• No prior experience required; comprehensive on‑the‑job training will be provided.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and follow household guidelines.
