Personal Support Worker – Home Support

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Personal Support Worker to provide home-based care for clients with disabilities. You will work directly in the client’s residence, delivering a range of personal and health‑related services while fostering a safe and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, hygiene, and dressing.
• Provide medication administration and change non‑sterile dressings.
• Assist clients with mobility, water activities, and regular exercise such as walking.
• Plan therapeutic diets, prepare nutritious meals, and shop for food and household supplies.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and mend clothing or linens.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school diploma).
• Personal Support Worker Certificate.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Criminal record check.
• Physical ability to bend, crouch, kneel, lift up to 23 kg, and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Personal qualities: punctual, dependable, patient, honest, and client‑focused.
