Subject Matter Expert – Contractor (Medical Affairs)

About the role

Acumetis is seeking experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to join its Medical Affairs talent network on a flexible freelance, interim, or project basis. You will help shape evidence generation, scientific engagement, and patient‑centered outcomes for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance and hands‑on support for medical affairs projects across the product lifecycle.
• Develop and deliver evidence‑generation plans, scientific communication materials, and patient‑outcome strategies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional consulting teams to address market access, patient services, and operational challenges.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards while meeting client timelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in medical affairs, evidence generation, or scientific engagement within the life‑sciences sector.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare markets and patient‑centered outcomes.
• Ability to work independently on a freelance or contract basis and adapt to varied project scopes.
