About the role
Associated Ambulance has been serving communities across Alberta for over 40 years, providing high‑quality emergency medical services and inter‑facility patient transport. With more than 350 staff across 24 stations, the organization is dedicated to patient care, safety, and employee development through ongoing training. The organization is seeking a Permanent Full‑Time Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) to join the Mayerthorpe station. The successful candidate will work a Core/Flex schedule of four days on followed by four days off, and must disclose any commitments that could affect their ability to meet the full‑time requirements. The PCP will respond to emergency calls, deliver primary care treatment, and transport patients between facilities as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Uphold quality standards in patient care and ensure patient safety during all transports.
- Promote employee safety and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the service.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain equipment readiness for emergency response.
Required profile
- Valid ACP practice permit that meets the requirements for EMS practice in Alberta.
- Current, valid Alberta Class IV driver’s licence.
- Up‑to‑date with all mandatory training, including MCP and PDIC.
