Paver Operator – Heavy Equipment Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paver Operator to join A & A Paving Ltd. in Calgary. The role involves operating a range of heavy equipment to support road construction and asphalt finishing projects on various outdoor sites.

Key responsibilities

• Operate pavers, rollers, graders, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre‑operational checks and complete required logs and documentation.
• Interpret material safety data sheets (MSDS) and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Transport and position materials using forklifts and industrial lift trucks.
• Collaborate with crew members to achieve high‑quality road and asphalt finishes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in asphalt finishing, grading, and road construction.
• Valid Class 1 or A driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Physically capable of demanding outdoor work and able to work fast‑paced schedules.
• Availability for seasonal, full‑time shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime.
