Party Shop Sales Associate

About the role

OSL Retail Services Inc is seeking a part‑time Party Shop Sales Associate for its Peterborough location. You will support the OSL brand in‑store, help customers with party and event needs, and ensure daily sales and operational targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties, maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
• Assist customers with balloon orders, inflate bouquets, and process transactions through the POS system.
• Receive and stock inventory, follow planograms, and manage helium supplies.
• Maintain safety standards, handle helium tank changes, and monitor inventory levels.
• Work flexible evenings and weekends as required.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 30‑50 lb and stand for extended periods.
• Team‑player mindset with a commitment to operational excellence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Basic inventory management and merchandising knowledge.
• Experience handling helium tanks and related safety procedures.
