Sales Representative – Inside/Outside Sales

About the role

The Sales Representative will develop new prospects and nurture existing customers to grow sales of Bolts Plus' construction and industrial supply products. This inside/outside role combines direct customer interaction, order processing, and market analysis to meet yearly sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, upsell related products, and communicate promotions.
• Develop relationships to position Bolts Plus as the first‑choice supplier and expand market share.
• Process orders, generate quotes, restock merchandise, and maintain showroom cleanliness.
• Conduct on‑site visits, deliver orders in a company vehicle, and forecast new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with vendors, credit, and A/R teams to resolve service issues quickly.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of age with a post‑secondary diploma or degree in Business (preferred).
• Three years of successful outside sales experience, preferably in industrial or wholesale distribution.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and a hunter‑mentalities with a focus on customer service.
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to manage increasing responsibility.

Required skills

• Experience with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems or consultative/solution selling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Familiarity with Streamline software (preferred).
• Knowledge of Netsuite ERP platform (preferred).
