Sales Lead - Full Time

About the role

Peak Performance, a skiwear brand founded in 1986, is hiring a full-time Sales Lead for its Vancouver Burrard retail store. The Sales Lead drives sales and delivers exceptional customer service, ensures top store standards, trains staff and engages customers to give an outstanding brand experience. The position is full time, around 32-40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, giving product information and recommendations.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and handle transactions accurately.
• Assist and lead visual merchandise changes according to company guidelines.
• Follow up on KPIs, targets and goal status, and ensure company and store policies are followed.
• Motivate the team, recognize strong performance, and help with new hire training, product knowledge and selling techniques.
• Ensure compliance with provincial and federal laws, including wage and hour, human rights and equal employment opportunities.
• Work with marketing materials and campaigns by running store events to boost community involvement.

Required profile

• 2-5 years of retail sales experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong command of English, spoken and written.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and varied hours.
