About the role

CareRx is seeking a part‑time pharmacist to join its Edmonton team. Reporting to the Designated Pharmacy Manager, you will ensure prescriptions are dispensed accurately and safely while providing patient‑focused pharmaceutical care in long‑term care and senior‑living settings.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to dispense medication orders accurately, safely, and timely.
• Verify safe and appropriate medication administration and assess critical medications.
• Respond rapidly to palliative‑care prescriptions.
• Arrange drug deliveries with the delivery team.
• Conduct medication regimen/profile reviews and document recommendations.
• Provide exceptional customer care to patients and home‑care partners.
• Communicate professionally with the resident‑care team and follow corporate policies.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing.
• Ability to work under the direction of the Designated Pharmacy Manager.
• Experience or interest in senior‑care or long‑term‑care pharmacy environments.
• Strong professional communication and teamwork skills.
