About the role
We are looking for a compassionate Health Care Aide to join our team in Edmonton. The role involves providing direct personal care and support to patients across various locations, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Perform patient personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
- Take vital signs including blood pressure, temperature and pulse.
- Transport patients between care facilities, using wheelchair or stretcher.
- Maintain patient rooms, make beds and manage inventory of supplies.
- Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- Health Care Aide Certificate.
- First Aid and CPR certifications.
- 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
