Part‑Time House Assistant (Calgary)

About the role

We are a busy family in Calgary seeking a reliable part‑time House Assistant to support daily household operations, meal preparation, and pet care. The role offers flexible hours, primarily Tuesday‑Thursday afternoons.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare three fresh dinners per week (Tuesday‑Thursday) and 1‑2 make‑ahead meals for lunches or weekends.
• Shop for groceries in person, focusing on fresh produce and healthy ingredients.
• Maintain daily household organization, including light upkeep, plant care, bulb/battery replacement, and supply restocking.
• Handle laundry, bedding, kitchen towels, and occasional deep cleaning of appliances, fridge, oven, and baseboards.
• Provide light pet care such as fresh water, occasional feeding, and walks when the regular walker is unavailable.
• Assist with occasional family errands, transportation, event preparation, and seasonal organization projects.

Required profile

• Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in Canada and able to maintain a smoke‑free environment.
• Comfortable around teenagers, large friendly dogs, and able to work independently.
• Dependable, punctual, and proactive in identifying and addressing household needs.
